The role is for Senior
Manual Functional Test Engineer is to implement best practice testing
techniques and perform testing as part of the software development life cycle. The
Analyst should have In-depth knowledge of generally accepted testing practices
as well as testing and development processes.
· Experience API testing, part of integration testing to determine if they meet expectations for functionality, reliability, performance, and security. Since APIs lack a GUI, API testing is performed at the message layer.
· Experience using SOAP UI, an open-source web service testing application for service-oriented architectures) and representational state transfers (REST). Its functionality covers web service inspection, invoking, development, simulation and mocking, functional testing, load and compliance testing.
· 9+ years of experience in manual testing.
