MARA Campaign Update: Door to Door, Phonebanking, CAMPAIGN KICKOFF EVENT!

Good Afternoon Ward 1!

First, I hope you all have taken the chance to visit the website, sign-up to volunteer, and made a donation to the campaign. Any amount of support helps and we definitely want to show how Ward 1 supports our next City Council member!  Also if you want a yard sign email the campaign manager Dan Hoicowitz at d...@patrickmara.com to get on the list!

Now for the FUN!!  We appreciate all the support you've given to the campaign so far and know you all will work hard to get Pat elected so I sincerely hope you will join the Campaign as well as the DC Republican Committee, the DC Young Republicans, and the DC Potomac Patriots as we kickoff this campaign in style!  The Potomac Patriots has formed in light of this election to work in a bi-partisan fashion to get Patrick elected.  In the 2011 special election we garnered almost twice as many non-republican votes as we did republican votes for Patrick and while we've been working hard to amp up the Rs that vote for Patrick this year we recognize the necessity to introduce our Democrat and Independent friends to the honest reform candidate in this race.  There is a two-part event next Monday, below are the details and I hope you all come out to one or both parts!

Bi-Partisan Reception (Bring a Dem. or Ind. friend!)

 6:00-7:30pm

$35 donation at the door for this private event which includes candidate meet & greet, open bar, & yummy hors d'oeuvres!
