BE HEARD!! Join the Ward 1 ANCs, 18 Different Ward 1 Organizations (including us), the Mayor's office, and Ward 1 Constituents as we learn about and discuss the 2013 proposed Budget. Voice your opinions and shape the future! DC 2013 Budget

May Day with Mary Brooks Beatty, 6:30-8:30pm

Join us for a special May Day fundraising event to benefit the campaign of Mary Brooks Beatty for DC Council at Large! Originally known as the festival of Bealtaine, later referred to as Mary's Day, the first day of May has always been a day for the celebration of rebirth and... renewal. All Wards Coming Together for Tim Day for Ward 5, 6:30-8:30pm
Local16, 1602 U St., NW
Hosted by all of the Ward Chairs for the DCGOP, we are uniting the city behind Tim Day for Ward 5! Come out and join me as we raise money for Tim Day and learn about how Tim will work hard for District residents as well as open the door for more republicans to be elected in this city. Tim Day is currently teetering between first and second in his race of 11 in Ward 5 and whether with money or volunteer hours we need to help him break the mold of corruption on the DC City Council!
