Between our Ward 1 ANC candidates, Mary Brooks Beatty/Ron Moten in their City Council Races, and Romney/Ryan there's a theme I think! GOTV!!! With just two weeks until election day it's 'all hands on deck' so volunteer now and don't let this election go by without doing your part.
DC ELECTION VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Early Voting: We need to man the polls during early voting at the prime voting times between 10am-2pm. We need official Poll Watchers as well as people out front manning the entrances and handing out literature. If you can give and hour or a day please contact me ASAP. Early voting is currently open at Judiciary Square from 8:30am-7:30pm until Nov. 3rd (no Sunday voting) and will open at the 7 other satellite locations starting this Saturday, October 27th.
Election Day: Polls are open from 7am-8pm and I really expect you all to make the effort and donate at least one hour of your election day at the polls. Before/After work are the most highly trafficked times at the polls and we want to make sure they are covered. If you would like to donate more of your time it is certainly welcomed, I will be taking time off for the whole day as my donation but I understand that isn't feasible for everyone.

1) If you would like to volunteer during early voting. (Satellite locations can be found at www.dcboee.org)
2) When you would like to volunteer on election day. (Before and/or After work and/or Lunch)
3) Your home precinct and, if you work in the city, your office address so we can assign you to the most convenient polling location to cover.
ROMNEY/RYAN CRUNCH TIME!
If you also want to get involved in the Romney/Ryan 'Final 14 Days Countdown Extravaganza' there are plenty of opportunities and you don't even have to leave the district. Phone banking is going on daily at the RNC from 9am-9pm M-Sat and 12-5 on Sundays. Food and beverages provided for all volunteers plus prizes for top callers!! Please contact me if you would like more details.
Thank you in advance for your hard work--being able to take part in this process is one of the greatest privileges we have as Americans; I implore you all to take advantage this November 6th!
