Tuesday hike
MINA GOODRICH
Tuesday's hike (4/29, 8:00am) will be an out and back along the AT starting at the parking lot on VA-725 Tuckers Lane) just north of I-66 and Rte. 55 (PATC Map 8). We will hike north 8 miles, have lunch (if it's not too early), and then return the same way for a total of 16 miles and around 3000 feet of elevation gain. Since it is an out and back, it will be easy for anyone wishing less mileage to cut it shorter.
TO CARPOOL: Meet no later than 7:00 AM at the Centreville Park and Ride off I66, exit 52, Centerville. Go west on Rt 29 taking the 2nd right into the park and ride, then immediately turn left to the corner of the lot where our group gathers. Please let me know if you will meet me at the trailhead or will be carpooling.
