Work Summary
The candidate filling this 6mo Software Developer - Lead position will
work on Portlet, Java, and EJB development for the iBT Praxis
registration project. In addition, the candidate will be responsible
for unit testing and software specification documentation.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
· Portlet development
· Unit testing
· Update software specification documentation
· Java development

· Client and server-side web services development
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience:
The ideal candidate must have 3 years of experience with Java
development, VAP and VCM development, and portlet development. The
candidate must be able to work independently and as a member of a
cross-functional team. This candidate must have a high level of
expertise related to portlet development, a high level of familiarity
with VAP and VCM. The ideal candidate will have experience with the
Gateway implementation of Praxis registration and the work that was
done previously for multi-program registration. Candidates must
possess good communication skills in order to interact with clients
and other technical staff. Must be a self-starter with excellent
communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to
detail.
