I have Ulead Video Studio 7 pro and have made several movies using my
cameras. I use Ulead’s Video paint in the past to do all of my
credits, but it is insanely difficult to use. So I picked up a copy of
VideoTagger.
My only problem is that when I add the credits in I was getting some
tearing in the video when it scrolled up.
My settings are 720 by 480 4:3 with 29.970 fps. It uses a DV Video
Encoder type 1.
When I create the credits movie I just told it Full movie and 30
frames per second. I tried 30 and 29.97 with quick movie and it was a
lot worse. I tried 30 fps with the Full movie and it was much better.
any advice?

Solve this problem by simply removing the compression – i.e., set it
to none. Then set the frame rate to the 29.97 and it will be smooth.
