N7500 groups/freq programming

Just switched phones and realized I didnt copy my app settings. Are we still using the Excel method for groups/frequency or has there been any improvements in programming these?

Hi Ed.

You can make the radio send it's setting to the app on the new phone, just set the new app Not to override the radio settings..

This will also allow you to move the channels.

The old Excel sheet only does 16 memories and now the app does 32.

The spreadsheet is password protected and I have asked Vero to update it.

You can export your memory groups, but I never done that yet !

Look in the APRS setting as there is a tick box for selection of overwriting the radio settings...
