I have my host tablet literally on top of the radio, but have recently begun to see many connect/disconnects from Bluetooth.

Note I have a bluetooth keyboard and three bluetooth mice in close proximity but these have been in use for many weeks without issue.

I am using the current firmware and Android software.

Any ideas?

Hi Bill

My thoughts on this is the tablet is dropping it off the radio BT goes to sleep, I know in windows you can stop thing going into energy saving. I can't think of anything on the app that would automatically disconnect or go to sleep.
Let us know if you manage to pin this down.

I dedicated a tablet for that, and can run for weeks.

On 7500, bluetooth antenna is poor... But in your case (and mine), it's not suppose to be an issue as we are always in proximity of the radio.

I only have HT and stock android app. Nothing more. In fact, when i upgrade my current tablet (Samsung tab), i simply remount the old one with a different dictated android user for HT.

OK - egg on my face.

I foolishly assumed the issue with intermittent connectivity was the RADIO, and a simple cold boot of the Android. Problem solved.

My thanks to all.
