Hi All... getting back to normal after a motorcycle ride taking in Ireland and Wales.

I took the N7500 in the top box using the APRS RF feature without Igate and was please with the results until I found I had crushed the antenna coaxial cable which antinuated the signal, except when the top was opened !!!!

For those that are Beta testers there has been a new release of firmware for Andriod and Apple which Josh Mesilane has been testing and early tests today on APRS messaging show a great step forward in the app.

The map above was on the old firmware and todays update took about 45 minutes to complete. The problem of forwarding APRS messages and the channel switching issue seems to be resolved.

The release notes for this Beta version are Improved APRS Support and Path plus dedicated channel when sending APRS.

The version is 2.5.6.4 (2022-09-16) in the settings page.

I don't have a copy for release, so please don't ask and fingers crossed on a full release soon. I'll keep testing and repoert back.

On our trip to Ireland we had a great time the radio itself worked well being bumped about in the top box... I have changed the coax cable and it's fully working.
