I tried to do a post about my bluetooth antenna relocation for my radio, but it said it was too long.

Here's the link to my write up. I hope the link works. Holler if you have questions.

Anyone find a Bluetooth range extender we could use with the Vero?

I use my 7500 as a base station, and want to be able to use it away from it, in my yard as an example.

Not sure how much I will gain with antenna relocation, but been able to be lot of ft away, using my bluetooth microphone and PTT will be Awsome

Did you cut the bluetooth antenna on the pcb after soldering the cable?

Seem not working for me. I install the mini-coah at the same location as the guide, and to be sure it's working, i but my radio in metal container, leaving out only antenna's (bluetooth and RF), it didn't gain anything. If fact, signal seem to still goes out from the onboard antenna only

So reason why i asked my question, did you cut the PCB bluetooth antenna after installing the external SMA kit ?

I will of course, re-check if i did it right, but want to see what as been done. The gDoc don't tell anything about cuting the onboard antenna. Only where to wired the SMA kit.
