Job Description

·         Design and develop AWS based applications to enable scientific modeling and simulation digital capabilities for R&D.

·         This includes Virtual System Pharmacology capability. Design, develop, test and deliver AWS based software systems and their integrations with Matlab & Simulink modeling tools.

·         Design and develop highly scalable and high performance could computing solutions to enable large scale numerical modeling.

·         Develop Elastic Bean web services, Lambda and key integrations of scientific data analysis workflows to enable clinical pharmacology.

·         Optimize application performance and scalability. Contribute to application architecture roadmap.

·         Deliver SDLC technical artifacts including architecture and design documents.

·         Successful candidate must have strong independent cloud computing application development skills but also be able to contribute significantly to analysis, prototype and design activities.

·         The ability to thrive in RAD/Agile iterative and incremental development environments is a must.

 

Job Requirement

·         Advanced expertise in Java, Web Service, Linux Shell Script, Python and Node.JS

·         Strong development skills in AWS cloud computing stack including EC2, Elastic Beanstalk and Lambda

·         Strong technical skills in database design, SQLs and AWS data services including Aurora and Redshift .

·         Strong skills application development, design patterns, frameworks and at least 8 + years’ experience.

·         Working knowledge of software development life cycles, configuration management and best software engineering practices.

·         Experience in scientific application and knowledge of the BioPharmaceutical R&D is a strong plus

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, scientific discipline or technology related field, higher degree preferred
