Hey, I'm looking for some extra reading that I can give out in class related to soldering, circuits and Arduino.

Instructional videos would be perfect, or websites with good material that the students can explore on their own.

John's soldering video inspired me to ask... any suggestions?

I find LadyAda's tutorials extremely accessible, not written in a
condescending or convoluted manner, and relatively balanced between
hard- and software. http://www.adafruit.com/tutorials Very
arduino-centric though.

I remember Dallas (or John?) having a kickass "soldering for
beginners" comic at maker faire last year. Depending on the skill
level of your class, that might be useful.
