What is the point of a pi without physical access. VHS was doing it to give people cheap 'virtual' pcs. but $5 per month an no gpio pin access...

Aren't you kind of missing the point of the Raspberry Pi?

I'm sorry, I don't understand. The point? Um, cloud... platform-as-a-service... Big Data... mobile-first... responsive... non-skeuomorphic flat interfaces... lightweight virtualization... Ember.js... crowdfunding... something...

Don't forget there has been talk of getting a full time human custodian at VHS. For another few bucks a month you could remotely control this person to insert and remove wires, LEDs etc.
