The ongoing misunderstandings between folks with similar goals is one reason for my resigning from the present board of directors. The skills for dealing with negativity are beyond my abilities. I have a strong desire to see an efficient, friendly, effective, method for my neighbors in West Vancouver and beyond, to purchase and share goods, information and services. This seems to me a necessary, positive, altruistic, available reason to work together democratically. I think that this group of intelligent, creative, experienced, leaders can come together in the PRESENT. In the NOW, and work together to get this movement off the ground.
The buyers club will keep our desire toward this end an active and effective training ground and foundation for our eventual service whatever form it grows into that fulfills the needs of it's members and the larger community. It will disappear easily upon the realization of the actual VFC.
I remain an interested, active, volenteer/owner with optimistic visions of a successful service.
