1. For 6th Grade Teams A and B, the Greek Fest is cancelled for
today.

2. Congratulations to the VW softball team on their 11-0 victory over
LaGrange Middle School yesterday. The next game is next Tuesday vs.
Wapp Jr.

3. The Mathcounts Club meeting is postponed until next Thursday, May
15th. All members should try to attend.

4. Tomorrow, Friday, is the last day you will be able to purchase
tickets for the 8th Grade Great Adventure trip. The cost is $80 CASH
ONLY. Time to purchase is 7:50 am until 8:20 am. No exceptions.

5. The Van Wyck Baseball team came from behind i the top of the 7th
inning last night to beat LaGrange 4 to 3 impoving its record to 5 and
0. The Griffins take on Wapp. Junior High Tuesday at Robinson Lane.

7. The John Jay and Ketcham baseball teams will play each other at
Dutchess Stadium (home of the Renegades) on Route 9-D Friday, May
9th. Many of these players may be former or current students and
having a large crowd there to support should make it a fun
atmosphere. The JV teams will begin at 4:15, and the Varsity
teamswill begin at about 7:15. We encourage you to come out and
support these two programs as they get the opportunity to play at this
great facility. There will be concessions available as well.

8. Student Government will meet today after school. Please meet
in the cafeteria after school. ONLY members who have handed in grade
sheets should stay.

9. Attention all girls entering grades 7 thru 9: John Jay will be
hosting a volleyball camp from Monday, June 30th thru Thursday, July
3rd. Enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please
listen to announcements for signup information. If you have any
