VWJHS Friday News 5/9 Day 3

1. The 'LAST CHANCE TO DANCE" dance is next Friday night, May 16th
from 5:00 to 7:00PM. The dance is for 6th and 7th grade students to
end the year with a bang! Tickets are on sale starting Monday and goes
through Thursday during all lunch periods. Remember, no tickets will
be sold at the door.

Any parents who would like to volunteer to chaperone the dance, or
help sell tickets during the lunch periods, please email Ann Liebergot

2. Congratulations to the Lady Griffins soccer team on their
spectacular, come-from-behind victory over Lagrange Middle School
yesterday. After trailing Lagrange 2-0 throughout the first half of
the game, the Lady Griffins came alive and scored 4 goals in the last
30 minutes of play. It was a tremendous effort by all of the girls.
The team remains undefeated!!
All soccer team members are asked to stop by Mrs Humphreys room
today.

3. Attention Student Government members: if you were not at
yesterday's meeting you need to stop by room 112 today or Monday, to
get a new grade sheet.
