I'm taking a lot shot here...
Do you know if there are any Scottish Country dance groups in the Correze area or neighbouring departments.
I have a friend who is a keen Scottish Country dancer who has moved to the Correze/Xaintree area - nearest village is Argentat Sur Dordogne, largest towns are Brieve, Aurillac, Tulle..... Travel distance can be up to an hour.
RSCDS in Paris have suggested Lyon but that is quite far away!
