Dear Mr.Venkat, / Kind attention to All members of Vaideekam group
Glad to here from you.
Now I attached the fonts zip. Please unzip and install the fonts to your
system.
Vedham is not like any other subject. Learning of vedham is very different.
Following are the special conditions to learn vdham.
1. Any new class or new portion of Vedham should be started in
'Dwidiyai' thithi.
2. No student should fail to attend the second class.
If failed he will be not able to continue learning of vedham, there will
be no 'proptham'
but we wont disturb or remove anybody.
3. The same portion of vedham only should be repeatedly learnt for
twelve consecutive classes.
But there will be some difference like :
First two classes - single single words
3rd to 5th class - three or four convenient words together
sixth to eight class - six to eight words or half of a vakkiyam or full
vakkiyam if the vakkiyam consists only below 10 words.
The balance four classes will be concentrated in the correction of
'swaram' and 'pronounciation'.
4. There will be no classes on Chathurthasi, Amavasai & Prathami . But
the students should come to the class room and they should combinedly
(chorusly) tell the learned manthram ten times. Then each student should
tell one time individually one by one. This practice should be continued
upto the end of next 'Paksham' i.e the end of next portion of vedham.
Again the next portion should be started. The 'Vadhyar' will simply
watch the class room and he will correct the mistakes done by the
students. So, there will be no break in the classes. We can give long
break i.e, only twelve classes per month. One paksham for learning and
other paksham for practicing the learned portion.

5. We may give break on Ashtami if required. But for some students who
missed one or two classes may gain by not breaking.

6. I decided to start the class with minimum three or four students but
decided to wait for another five to ten students to change the next portion.

27-03-2005 Suday - "Tharana varusham, Uththarayanam, Sisira Rudhu, Meena
masam, Krishna Paksham Dwidiyai thithi, Sidhdha yogam, Chithra
Nakshathram" is the best day in all respect to start the "Web cam Test
Classes" . Testing and communication correction will be continued upto
May 10th 2005. A full set of 'pakka' class room will be started (if
enough strength) on 11th May 2005 which is "Akshayya Thiruthiyai". I
hope no explanation required about this day.
Thanks for the chance given me to explain all those things.
You can ask me for your further doubts if any.
Best regards,
Moderator
