Hi,I am new incoming postdoc. I am seeking recommendations on affordable apartments from current or previous post docs who have lived in the Bellevue neighborhood area. I greatly appreciate your help. Thanks,Kedir
Hi Nikola!
I live in Bellevue and many apartments in this area are very affordable compared to other areas in Nashville. Creekwood apartments on Highway 70 South, 37221 is very affordable and the office is friendly and very quick to respond to maintenance requests. They are very family friendly and there are many kids who live there with their parents. They allow up to 2 dogs or cats if you pay a one-time pet fee and monthly pet rent for the animals. It is also right by a bus stop for commuting up to Vanderbilt and your wife will be able to ride the bus for free using her Vanderbilt ID. My commute up to Vanderbilt on Highway 70 south via car usually takes between 25-40 minutes depending on what time of day it is and how heavy traffic is. I would assume that the bus commute takes a similar amount of time, perhaps a small bit longer since it has to make stops to pick up/drop off people. Creekwood is also very close to Publix, a grocery store, so you would be able to walk there in abt 10-15minutes.
Hope this information helps! =)
Warmest regards,
Jen
