Hi Kedir,

You can try "Valley Ridge Apartments,6501 Harding Pike Nashville, TN 37205". It is very nice there.

Best,

Hi,

I am new incoming postdoc. I am seeking recommendations on affordable apartments from current or previous post docs who have lived in the Bellevue neighborhood area. I greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks,

lot of options in the Bellevue area. I live in legacy Hill and really like it. Very reasonable prices, great location, not too big of a complex like some of the other ones. Good sized apartments that are modern. Great staff. Lots of families. Looked around a lot and really happy with my decision and ended up renewing contract for another year

Hi,

I am currently living in Bellevue Area near Nashville Downtown and Vanderbilt University.  If you have spouse and children and your children need to go to Elementary School, I strongly recommend a condo (Two rooms and two and half beth) with reasonable price.  Because this condo type house has a back yard, you can do barbeque and grilled dinner with your family and friends.  You can find "RiverBridge" Condo. Rental fee might be a bit more expensive than you expected because we have a good elementary school area (Harpeth Valley Elementary School; score 10 out of 10).

Welcome to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Vanderbilt University.

John.

Hi Nikola!

I live in Bellevue and many apartments in this area are very affordable compared to other areas in Nashville. Creekwood apartments on Highway 70 South, 37221 is very affordable and the office is friendly and very quick to respond to maintenance requests. They are very family friendly and there are many kids who live there with their parents. They allow up to 2 dogs or cats if you pay a one-time pet fee and monthly pet rent for the animals. It is also right by a bus stop for commuting up to Vanderbilt and your wife will be able to ride the bus for free using her Vanderbilt ID. My commute up to Vanderbilt on Highway 70 south via car usually takes between 25-40 minutes depending on what time of day it is and how heavy traffic is. I would assume that the bus commute takes a similar amount of time, perhaps a small bit longer since it has to make stops to pick up/drop off people. Creekwood is also very close to Publix, a grocery store, so you would be able to walk there in abt 10-15minutes.

Hope this information helps! =)

Warmest regards,
Jen
