Teacher (Music) for Visually Impaired in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan
(KVS), Delhi. Subject wise: PGT- English: 01, History: 01, Geography:
01, Economics: 01. TGT: Hindi: 04, English: 04, Sanskrit: 02, Social
Studies: 07, Work Experience Teacher: 01. Qualifications: (i) Vice-
Principal: (i) Masters Degree from a recognized university with
atleast 50% marks in aggregate.
(ii) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
(iii) 2 years experience of working on the post of Vice-Principal in
Central/State Govt. Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt.
Or 6 years experience of working on the post of PGT or Lecturer in
Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt.
Desirable: Basic knowledge of working on Computer. Age Limit: 35-45
years (ii) PGT: Two year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc course of
Regional College of Education of NCERT in the subject concerned OR
Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks
in aggregate in following subjects.
PGT (English): English
PGT (History): History
PGT (Geography): Geography
PGT (Economics): Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics
B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media
Note: Candidates having only Special B.Ed are not eligible for the post of PGT.
Desirable qualifications: Knowledge of Computer Applications. Age
Limit: 40 years
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGTs) Group-B
Subject wise posts: Hindi: 04, English: 04, Sanskrit: 02, Social Studies: 07,
Work Experience Teacher: 01
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Qualifications: Four years integrated degree course of Regional
College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least
50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Bachelor's Degree with atleast 50% marks in the concerned
subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. The elective subjects
and languages in the combination of subjects are as under:
Hindi: Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
English: English as a subject in all the three years.
Sanskrit: Sanskrit as asubject in all the three years.
(i) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
(ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II,
conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE
for the purpose
(iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English Medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Social Studies: The candidate should possess the professional
qualification of B.Ed as on the last date of submission of application
The candidate should have studied any two subjects out of the following:
(i) History with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and one subject out of
Geography/Economics/Political Science with atleast 50% marks in
aggregate and also atleast 50% marks in graduation,
OR
Geography with 50% marks with History/Economics/Political Science with
atleast 50% marks in aggregate and also atleast 50% marks in
graduation.
Work Experience Teacher: Electrical Gadgets and Electronics:
i) Three years diploma after Higher Secondary in Electrical,
Electronics Engineering from an institution recognized by State
Govt./Govt. of India.
OR
Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University.
Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Desirable:
i) One year practical experience in a recognized workshop institution/factory
Knowledge of Computer Applications.
4. Primary Teacher (Group-B)
Upper age limit: 30 years
1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2
year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and
4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2
year Diploma in Education (Soecial Education)
Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the
Govt. of India.
Proficiency to teach through Hindi & ENglish media
Desirable: Knowledge of working on Computer.
5. Primary Teacher (Music) Group-B
Upper age limit: 30 years
Qualification: Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or
Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in
Music or equivalent from a recognized university.
Competence to teach through English/Hindi Medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
The candidaites who have obtained Diploma in Music are not eligible to apply.
Age relaxation: 10 years for PwD candidates.
The Written test for the recruitment to the above mentioned posts
likely to be held at following 36 cities. The centre for the written
examination for the post Vice Principal will be at Delhi only.

Agra, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar,
Chandigarg, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi/NCR, Guwahati,Gwalior, Hyderabad,
Imphal, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata,
Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Port Blair,
Raipur, Ranchi, Silichar, Siliguri,
Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur, Varanasi, Vijayawada.
Candidates with disability of 40% or more, if they need Scribe, will
have to bring their own scribe to assist them in the examination.
There is no restriction with regard to educational qualification or
age etc. for the scribe. Compensatory time to be allowed for all
candidates with disability of 40% or more is 20 minutes per hour of
examination.
