Dear Friends

Let me know the why i m getting this problem

when i mounting share folder of windows then i m getting this problem. so please give me the solution

mount error 110 = Connection timed out
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g.man mount.cifs)

If you want to mount windows folder to linux you should install cifs file system.

Try dis
mount -t cifs //IP/SHARENAME -o username=USER password=PASSWD /Mountpoint
It should work. User share name of that shared folder.

Check permission on the shared folder. Give Everyone full access.

Hi,
I try this at my center, i shared one ntfs partion on windows with Everyone write able permission. Share name of that partion is "Users".
mount -t cifs //200.200.200.136/Users -o username=Administrator,password=restricted /opt
and its working fine.

check and let us know.

And mount again with your command.
