Results from analyzing students' work with VGL

Hi all
I just completed a small analysis of 367 work files (3 year's worth)
saved by my students when using VGL. It shows some interesting things:
- although VGL allows crossing between different cages, most students
don't use this feature
- many students have serious difficulty recognizing when they've found
enough information to solve a VGL problem

Any comments, thoughts, suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
