Hi, gang.  I’m working on a new EV conversion project, but the company that insured my previous EV won’t insure the new one, and my Farmer’s agents can’t find anyone to insurance the car.  Can someone in the group tell me what insurance company they use, and also which agent, so that I can contact them and get this car insured?

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill:  My electric Ecotrike is insured by Progressive Ins.  Nobody else would insure my home built vehicle.  Progressive only insures for Liability not Collision or Comprehensive but at least it allows you to drive legally in Utah.   Call Trusctco inc.  801 278 5341   Andy

Thanks, Andy (and all others who replied).   Being a geezer, I was finally able to get the car insured through AARP just this morning.   Getting this car insured took way more effort than I ever imagined, especially since I’d already had my other EV conversion insured since 2008, and all I was trying to do was switch the policy to the new conversion.
