I am furious that Andy had the audacity to send an email to the Saints, touting his ridiculous and dangerous approach to changing the dues structure.  How dare he have the nerve to use the email listing to send his personal opinion on  a crucial topic ..especially. when HE WAS SUPPORTIVE OF BANNING DEB GRANITE FROM THE BOARD & FROM THE SAINTS FOR HER DOING THE VERY SAME THING LAST YEAR!

 

The Saints are famous for the good work they do, and from the donations to needy venues to help them accomplish goals to help THEM grow.  We are NOT only ushers. Ushering is a perk that membership permits.  It's the "backstage" help we give the art community ... the support of their projects, with  the funds we have available for  them when they have something wonderful to dream about. 

 

Our dues are NOT EXCESSIVE.  THERE IS ABSOLUTLELY NO REASON TO REDUCE THEM.  The monies available to issue grants to ANY venues should not be lowered by lowering our dues.   NO ONE would be willing to send in additional donations if the dues are lowered because people are delighted to "get the best deal they possibly can" for anything.  We have the best deal going for us and MUST NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO LOWER OUR STANDARDS!

 

However...There is much more involved than our dues...The entire picture of the Saints has been changing since Andy came into power and it is a terrible direction we have

been going.  The Board MUST SHOW SOME STRENGTH AND STAND UP TO THIS LITTLE HITLER! 

 

 There are new Saints members who are not knowledgeable about the entire picture of the purpose the Saints serve.  They are, unfortunately, not aware of the dangerous approach Andy is using for too many of the things he advocates. Because they are new members  they  do not see  how his ideas are so dangerous for the proper continuation of the Saints organization.. All of Andy's suggestions and behavior have been inappropriate . . If he is allowed to continue in ANY position of importance in the Saints organization, it will be the death knell for us!  He MUST BE STOPPED! HE MUST BE REMOVED!

 

I realize that putting myself on the line means Andy will use every power in his possession to refuse to print any of my requests for Cyberline listings, and to squelch any other project I am involved in.  That is his pattern of behavior.

 

 . It also means that certain Board members who have been supportive (or afraid) of him will also now put me into the "blackball" caregory.

 

So be it.  It remains to be seen.
