More nonsense from the Board, more smoke screens

President, whose behavior becomes more erratic and unbusinessworthy
day by day. I say it is a gut reaction to explain the errors in it.

I wish to make it clear to every member of the present board, some of
whose behavior is going to lead to the dissolution of an organization
which has served the theatre community in Chicago for some time, that
the present structure of the dues should be left as it is. It should
never have been reduced to as a reward to those members who no longer
required a printed copy of the Spotlight; the $20 should simply have
been shunted to the monies available to make grants so that more
grants could have been made. I have never heard anyone complain about
the dues when they were $65. That was the best bargain in town.
Furthermore, it is time to stop creating new email addresses at the
drop of a hat. This is nothing but obfuscation. Use the email
addresses that already exist. I just did.
It is time for some drastic changes, but not to the dues structure.
