Today my Cyberline, which is now from the yahoo e-address
SaintsC...@yahoo.com , was delivered to my junk mail box. Has
this happened to anyone else? When was the Cyberline switched to a
yahoo e-address?
Here's my reply and a place for others to comment about the Cyberline:
I believe Andy changed the Cyberline's email address when he took over
sending it out. I know the first time I had to submit something to it
as a coordinator my posting got ignored because I didn't send it to
the "proper" address.
IMHO (in my humble opinion) communication has only got more complex
since Andy voted to break a tie vote of the Board and put himself into
the position of President. Witness the totally redundant <saints.voice
at gmail.com> email address he created. Anyone who wanted to write to
him alone could always use his published address <aplingras at
gmail.com> to reach him. That new address has been a source of
confusion and incorrectly led people to think mail went to the entire
board, whereas it only goes to him.

I would venture to say that the "new" redundant email address created
by Andy was deliberately designed to confuse the membership on
communication issues. Many people (incorrectly) assumed that it was
a
convenient link to write to the entire board as opposed to the
individual email addresses that are listed on the Saints website
which
you can neither click nor copy into an email - because they are not
text fields but images - it's unclear whether this is a deliberate
attempt to make it difficult to communicate with the entire board or
shows lack of understanding of web design.
Currently while email feature on the website, only allows you to
email one person at a time. There is no ability to CC anyone & of
course it doesn't include the option to email Deb Granite & Jim
Venskus who are not listed under the contacts due to application of
Sharon's Rotten Rules - i.e. since they wouldn't sign the amaturish,
vague, unenforceable confidentiality agreement she has claimed
authorship of (which is not specified ANYWHERE in the bylaws, but
only
in an unwritten board rule), therefore under a yet another
undocumented rule, they are not chairs of any programs & in the
warped logic of this board, are not listed as board members on the
public pages of the website.
This new email address is yet another example of Andy trying to
control the flow of information. The fact that so many people
thought
this email address would be forwarded to the entire board showed that
he succeeded in obscuring the real intent of this new email address.
At the membership meeting, he said that he set up this special email
so that members could feel safe from retribution when emailing a
concern, implying that only he would take their comments with an open
mind, but the remainder of the board could not be trusted to do the
same. This was actually said with a straight face!
