In the interest of making the most of the time at the camps, it would
be good to have the set of questions tailored for each group and
posted, discussed and vetted by those interested in advance of
Saturday. In the "Files" sections of the UX Google group you'll find
Draft Documents for User Testing for the above mentioned projects. I
want to emphasize these are preliminary documents that need to be
fleshed out and customized for the given sites being tested. That
said, these scripts should retain certain key elements, including a
consistent set of questions, and room for "ad hoc" input, as well as
questions that address initial impressions and overall responses as to
what the site is all about. In addition, it should also have some
questions that address the more detailed QA type issues.
The goal is a set of straightforward tests that can be easily used as
needed by various cities to identify various UX issues that might
affect a project's deployment and success.
Questions and comments are encouraged!
Thanks,
Hunter
The website addresses are listed on the UX Google Group for the 3 projects I
listed in my email below, so not sure what you mean by not being able to
find Kapab? In interest of clarity, the URL is:
http://haiti.opensgi.net/mednet/
If you use the templates I uploaded yesterday in the "Pages" section of the
Google Group, you'll have a good starting point with some of the basic
questions to work from. As I mentioned, we'd like to add more. Ideally,
we'll get more questions sent in to augment the Draft Scripts from the
various projects' team members and/or others (today, or even tomorrow).
If you'd like to see some examples of what was done previously (at the SV UX
Camp), you can look in the Google Group, also in "Pages" section. If you
have any trouble finding anything, please let me know and I will walk you
though it.
If you have any questions you can call me, this evening and/or tomorrow:
m: 415.385.8489.
I do have an engagement for a couple of hours tomorrow, so if you do not
reach me directly, please leave a message letting me know the best time to
reach you, and I will get back to you.
Thanks,
Hunter
