Position: .Net Developer
Location: Seattle, WA
Interview: Telephonic + Skype (F2F Preferred)
Duration: 12 + months
Responsibilities:
· Work as part of a dynamic team through the Agile development process.
· Collaborate with designers, analysts, project managers and project sponsors to implement new applications or enhance existing ones
· Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria
· Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards
· Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria
· Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality / time to market imperatives
· Maintain records to document program development and revisions
· Provide 3rd level support of software solution as needed
· Provide system support after hours as necessary
· Share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams
· Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress
· Support QA by participating in test plan reviews, attending triage meetings and providing bug fixes
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar degree
· 3+ years’ experience with Enterprise application design and construction with an emphasis on web architectures
· 1+ years’ experience in SOA environments working with SOAP and/or RESTful web services
· Mid to Expert-level abilities in .NET (C#), ASP.NET HTML, jQuery, CSS, and JavaScript
Preferred Qualifications:
· Full stack development expertise across all layers of a multi-tier architecture
· Strong working knowledge of OO design and common design patterns
· Experience with recognized industry patterns, methodologies, and techniques
· Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and IIS platform
· Proven track record of delivering quality, mission critical, enterprise systems
· Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, T-SQL, Sybase, and SQL Server
· Experience with AccuRev, Hudson, AntHill Pro and other continuous integration tools
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Familiarity with Agile engineering practices
