Celebrating the 50th anniversary of “The Sound of Music”

Tom Emswiler (a retired United Methodist minister) will be offering a 3 week summer course celebrating the 50^th anniversary of “The Sound of Music”.  The sessions will be held in the chapel at Grace Church.  Following is the schedule:

 

June 17 from 2:00 to 4:30: view the movie and share thoughts on it

June 24 from 2:00-4:00:     watch a BBC documentary about the film, and take a brief look at the theology and what the critics say about the film

July 1 from 2:00-4:00:        watch portions of two other documentaries about the film and discuss them

 

Cost is $15 per person (scholarships are available).
