On behalf of Bobbie Ford:
A few years ago, Grace’s XYZs took a trip
to view a
quilt inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper”.
There will be another opportunity to see that quilt on
October 9 (10 to 5:00)
and 10 (10 to 4:00) at the First Christian Church on Staley Road
in Champaign.
Over 850,000 have viewed this quilt,
which took over 2 ½ years
to complete and is made up of 51,816 half-inch squares.
Many of the fabrics
were hand-dyed.
Admission to the quilt show (with over 100 quilts on display) is $6.00.
