What are the plans to replace the two trees being murdered tomorrow?

These trees (the cypress and myrtle)  are producing a lot of Oxygen.  So
I suggest the Garden Group bring in somewhat mature trees (perhaps
several) that can produce a comparable amount of Oxygen right quick!

Regarding the myrtle, it was just a bush when CRSP bought the bldg. in
1996, so I urge a pruning back rather than a removal.

Also, this radical plan should have been brought before the entire
community, not just folks that attended a mtg. last February.

This was an informal decision about 20 yrs ago., i.e., whenever
something radical was planned for our landscape, e.g., removing trees,
it would be brought to the full community first.

I am beside myself with discomfort, anger, sadness about USTU destroying
trees on our property!!

Note that 117 was built in 1922 and has survived many storms, a few
small fires, strong winds, crime and more.  But not the advice of a
single landscaper without a second opinion.  God help us!

PLEASE COMMUNITY, LET'S HALT THIS TREE ASSASSINATION!  And we're paying
people to be tree killers!

I know that I don’t understand the full scope of what is happening with all of this — but I do support a pause to consider how we feel about total tree removal as opposed to pruning.

We did a garden walk thru with several folks last year and the invitation was open to all folks, but only about 8 ppl showed up.

If folks dont show up to garden work parties or contribute to maintaining the grounds, it's hard to alter decisions when work has been coordinated and scheduled.

Carol, what do you think?

The more I think about this, the more upset I am.  Tree removal, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, should always be brought to the full community for thoughtful consideration before a decision is made.  PLEASE!  LET'S HALT THE TREE REMOVALS!

if so, could you kindly send me copies for my archival tree file?
thx.
