'Officially' join UCAM, meeting minutes

During our last meeting on January 18th at Chelsea High School, UCAM
officers were elected, and committee chairs and the MASCA trustee were
appointed. They are:
Brad Toney, President (Chelsea High School)
Tim Poynton, Treasurer/Membership Coordinator (Suffolk University)
Don Coverdale, MASCA Trustee (East Boston High School)
Genevieve White, Professional Development Chair (Boston Latin Academy)
Tim Poynton, Communications Chair (Suffolk University)

The website has also been revised and updated, and contains information
about the committees if you would like to volunteer!
IMPORTANT. The website now also features the ability for you to
'officially' join UCAM. Membership in UCAM is currently free, and we
need you to provide your name and basic contact information through the
website to ensure we have accurate information about our members. If
you have not already done so, please visit the website and complete the
required form. We will require this to be done annually, as it
indicates active membership. People who do not join UCAM through the
online form will be removed from this email list.
If you have ideas for professional development or other events for UCAM
to offer, please let us know! We are currently in the early planning
stages for events this spring, including a presentation at the MASCA
Spring Conference.
FINALLY, we will be petitioning MASCA for affiliate status on March
21st, 2007 at their Governing Board meeting. We will have at least two
people representing UCAM at the meeting. You can show your support for

online form to join!
