Peace,
It brings me Great Pleasure to release the latest Build.
Stability issues cleared up.
We are slowly solidifying grounds on the XML Schema. This is such a Significant task that we're considering extending this project to be called the Universal Scripture Viewer Framework and the software which finally functions on this framework being the final product. USV Framework Explorer, maybe...
As pointed out, one of the chief concerns is the XML Schema/DTD in hand. As a clearer picture is developed progress in the software is at hand. Included in this compressed folder are two .xml files. One is Arabic Qu'ran and the other is English Translation of it(Authorized English Version). Some of the features of the data in the XML file have been used, as can be seen in the attached image. It is essential that once the Schema has been solidified that a team be formed for conversion of data sets(ie., Arabic Qu'ran, other Qu'ran Translations, Bhaghvad Gita's, Bibles, Guru Grant Sahib, Buddhist Bible, and any other public domain scriptures to be set to our XML Schema. There are talks of development of a web site for this very development in God's way. The Very Success of the software depends on assimilation of as many scriptures/translations as possible. That means, more users, which then means more people coming across AEV Qu'ran as the Default scripture that is viewed, and thus success.
To some extent, you may be able to get an idea of where this software is going. Whoever can read the Arabic, I told the title of Sura Fateha and copied it as the description for Qu'ran in the XML file and that is why that is displayed. This was done to show that we are able to view various scripts in the software. Please, everyone let me know if they were able to see the Arabic? If you were not, perhaps you need to reinstall the JRE and select the "additional languages" option to be installed. Also, I request some cooperation from someone who's available to bring the Arabic Qu'ran File up to speed as well as the English one when the time comes(within a month, God Willing...)
Well, that's all for now, so...
God Bless,
Shree Mulay
PS. You will need to extract the three files to a folder and click on Universal Scripture Viewer to run. The other two files are the .xml files. Also, you may add any other .xml file to the folder to see that they are also recognized, and if they follow the Schema Guidelines(to be released soon), their data will also display, IA.
PS. Press Ctrl-N to spawn new windows. Click on the Drop Down Bar to see an effect, IA...
