Peace,

Well, I just built this simple program/tool which will list out all the languages and locales that the current version of Java on your machine(and in respect to a few other factors) will allow you to have USV to display in.  The list that comes up on your screen after running the program will be completely different from computer to computer, God willing.

INSTRUCTIONS:

The program is attached to this email.

Download it - doubleclick on it to run it.

From the list, you can see if there are any languages(locales) that may be of any interest to you for translation of common words, God willing.

YOU WILL REQUIRE THE LATEST VERSION OF JAVE TO RUN THE TOOL I'VE BEEN BLESSED BY GOD TO MAKE, GOD WILLING:

Windows:  http://www.java.net/download/jdk7/binaries/jdk-7-ea-bin-b30-windows-i586-03_jul_2008.exe
Other systemshttp://download.java.net/jdk7/binaries/

If the program that I've made doesn't work after you've downloaded it and doubleclicked, it still means you need to update you JAVA, as per the links just listed, God willing.

Well, let me know what languages people can take up, God willing.  Will be making a separate forum for those who are part of the ongoing language committee, God willing.  Members thus far include the following:

Khaja:  Tamil
Shahid:  Hindi and Urdu(Urdu Script???)
Sanad and Vikram(I'm not sure if I spelled the name 'correctly'):  Marati and Hindi

The overlap is acceptable to ensure cross references and to cover for possible unavailability.  Does anyone want to take up the Arabic, Swedish(Katerina?), Aramaic, Hebrew, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, or whatever else???  btw, Gw, I'll cover English(American - TN), God willing.  And, English(American), as well.  blah, blah, blah...

Well, that's all for now, folks, so,
God Bless,

shree

ps.  I mentioned 'my program\program I made' not because I'm full of myself, but to differentiate the part which is being sent out from me in relation to USV, and the JAVA (the other program) you will have to download from Sun Microsystems.  Well, ok - I'm a 'little' full of my self.  May God Guide me to kill that...

ps.  I've also attached a screen shot of what the tool looks like, as well - in case you don't have time to go through the process.
