Folks - please note that on the Umtali and its People I am restricted to 6 images/photos per article so there will be a Part 3 and also Hugh Maunder has joined the party and sent in a photo or two which will be included in Part 3.
I do hope that I am not boring you all with these articles but in all honesty they are part and parcel of our memories of Umtali.

U.B.H.S. Expedition Southern/Northern Rhodesia August 26, 1959 to September 11, 1959 Part 2

Staff and pupils of Umtali Boys High School embarked on a tour of Southern and Northern Rhodesia between August 26 till September 11. Bryan Timmins who was part of this tour has kindly made a number of memories and photos available to us. Please note that there a fair number of photographs and as such I will be distributing three notifications covering this tour. This is simply down to assist those with dial-up modems. Please note that the photos were taken with the old "Box Type" camera so please do not expect the quality of today's magical cameras.
