2014 Umstead Marathon - Registration Opens December 2, 2013

The Carolina Godiva Track Club is pleased to announce that the 11th Annual Umstead Trail Marathon will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 in the beautiful William B. Umstead State Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. On-line registration opens on Monday, December 2 at 8:00 am est. We are limited to 200 runners and we suspect the field will fill quickly, so don't delay!

There will be NO race day registration. 
Entry fee is $70.00

Race Information:
- Saturday, March 1, 2014, 9:00 am
- Course: Hilly; Some rocky, rooty single-track; Hilly; Mostly wide sand and dirt bridle trails; Hilly.
- NO headphones, baby joggers, or pets on the course
- No drinking cups provided on course
- No day-of-race registration
- Time cut-offs will be based on a maximum 6 hour finishing time
- Pint glasses for finishers
- Awards will be given to the top fifteen (15) males and top fifteen (15) females

Please note that no drinking cups will be available at the aid stations along the marathon course. Each runner will receive a reusable, collapsible 6 oz. drinking cup in their race packet, and are strongly encouraged to carry it along the course. Water and energy drink will be on course, along with energy gels. Some aid stations will have additional food.
