Here's a really interesting article from Urban Airship on tuning the linux kernel for 500,000 socket connections :)

Nosebleeding to some, a nice treat for others.

Sure brought back memories. We were troubleshooting frequent OOMs on one of our linode servers and everything described in this article would have easily enlightened us. :)

Yeah. This article was a little too late, but still very much early :D hehehe We might be able to use this for our EC2s as well. Who knows? :)
