Hiring: Research Associate, Vote Rev

Hey everyone,

NRG Consulting Group is helping Vote Rev hire a Research Associate to join their team! Vote Rev designs and quickly mainstreams field-tested voter engagement innovations to help Democrats win. They got their start by working to answer one question: What would it take to unleash the power of those disengaged voters -- “non-activists” -- to spark their friends to vote at scale? 

The Research Associate will join Vote Rev’s Research Team to work on partisan and nonpartisan research and design initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting interviews and observations to understand voter problems, assisting in designing, prototyping & optimizing voter engagement innovations, and assisting in experiments to test new voter engagement tactics in the field. 

Ideal candidates have 1-2.5 years of experience, ideally including one or more of: interview and observation skills, user-centered design, organizing, voter outreach and engagement, and/or improving programs, trainings, or other solutions to fit the needs of users. They have a passion for advancing social justice causes and electing progressive candidates. There is no educational requirement for this role. Candidates whose experience comes from voter-facing campaign or nonprofit roles are especially encouraged to apply!

This role is based in either Los Angeles (preferred) or New York City, with a hybrid home/office schedule. This is full-time with a salary of $60k-$66k plus benefits.
