Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Prospective Applicants,
Friends of Hue Foundation (FHF) takes pride in its Global Volunteer Program as we recognize the invaluable services provided by ‘volunteers’ to further FHF’s development mission in the areas of health, education, vocational and trade training, micro-financing, community services, and disaster relief in central Viet Nam.
In the last ten years, we have carefully crafted every project to provide meaningful opportunities and experiences of learning, contributing, and cultural exchanging to the very young high school students to the very wise experienced professionals. In partnership with Vietnamese American Scholarship Foundation (VASF), FHF is proud to be the site placement for VASF’s Summer 2011 Cultural Bridges Fellowship. Each Cultural Bridge Fellow receives a base stipend of $2,500 to support travel and living expenses during the summer. Fellows will have a chance to design and implement full-time community service projects that address the needs within Vietnam.
