A VIET-HERITAGE CULTURAL AND ENTERTAINMENT NIGHT

Enjoy art exhibits, concert, food and dance under one roof in one night

to celebration of the rich culture and heritage of Viet-Americans

from 4:00PM to 11:30PM of the Saturday, 18 September 2010

at the SJSU 's Barrett Ballroom - Student Union Building

$ 25/person and $ 50/VIP for all programs

       ●   UNIQUE   ART  EXHIBITS  -  4:00PM to 9:00PM - Free Admissions Special presentations by Bay Area artists: exotic paintings on rocks by Đào Hải Triều, oil paintings  by Trương Thị Thịnh; marvelous photographs by Nguyễn Khoa Thái Anh; antiques and artifacts by Trần Hạnh; flower arrangements by  Uyên & Nguyên (Hill's Flowers).

       ●   EXCELLENT  MUSICAL  FEATURES  -  5:00PM to 7:00PM

Ethnic folklore singing styles such as Ả Đào, Ca Trù, Chầu Văn by Trần Lãng Minh & Nga Mi; unique Stone-Age instruments and performances by Vũ Hồng Thịnh; dramatic Rap songs by Lê Huy Phong & Lê Huy Phát; traditional Wings-of-100-Viet Dance Troop; Echoes of the Motherland Ensemble; Nhóm Hoa Vàng; singers Ngọc-Diệp and Vĩnh Thanh-Thảo.

  

       ●   AUTHENTIC  VIETNAMESE  FOODS  -  7:00PM to 9:00PM

A relish of more than 10 popular dishes such as  tasty Nem Nướng, Chả Giò, Gỏi Cuốn, Cánh Gà, Bò Lá Lốt and many more. Healthy and beautiful juicy desserts such as Trống-Đồng fruit cakes, Bánh Chuối and Bánh Xu-xê.
