Deadlines for application to become a candidate for the UVSA Executive Board positions are this Saturday. On Sunday we will compile the candidates and their brief statements and bios. http://sites.google.com/a/norcaluvsa.org/central/elections

I've been asked what should go into the 100-word statements, and I would suggest putting your experience as a leader that is relevant to the position. VSA experience, though helpful, is not necessary, so long as you have experience leading something, e.g. organized a 300-person wedding, founded a club at your school, etc. If we were to create a roster with a brief bio next to each person, what do you want a new staff member coming into UVSA to know you for?
