You've been invited to our Spratly & Paracel discussion forum @ UC Berkeley.

The purpose of this short informational session is to bring awareness to the long existing conflict in the South China Sea regarding the fight over territorial rights/claims to the Spratly and Paracel Islands among China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, and Brunei.

The People's Republic of China has extended an aggressive military presence in the region threatening the safety and sovereignty of all nations involved.

Come by, educate yourselves on the issue, and discuss your perceptions regarding policy concerns in relation to the homeland as a Vietnamese American.
