Hey all,

We have a MMBSS meeting this Wednesday in WEL 2.256 (the original
room) @ 6 PM. During the meeting, we'll be putting Trick-Or-Treat bags
together for kids for the Ice Cream Social on Friday, and we'll also
be discussing what needs to happen on Friday in order for everything
to run smoothly at the social. There will be pizza as usual. It should
be a fun change of pace from the regular meetings.

Also, one more thing!

Dr. Wallingford, our speaker from last week, has asked me to let you
guys know that he will be teaching a brand new class next semester on
the cell biological basis of embryonic development. Here is some info
on the class:

BIO377 (unique = 50960)

TTH, 200 to 330p

WALLINGFORD, JOHN B

Cell biological basis of embryonic development. Topic description:
How basic cell biological processes (cell division, vesicle
trafficking, cytoskeletal remodeling) contribute to the development of
vertebrate embryos. Additional prerequisite: Biology 320 or 349 with a
grade of at least C.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Dr. Wallingford is an
excellent professor, so if you are at all interested in this topic, I
would highly recommend taking this course with him. If you have any
questions about the course, you can email him at
walli...@mail.utexas.edu. I'm sure he will be more than happy to
answer them.

See you Wednesday!

Sanjeev
