Hey everyone!
This is Sanjeev Shah, Social President of Micro and Molecular Biology
Students Society (MMBSS).
I hope school is going well for all of you. I'm sure you all are busy
with Round 1 of exams, and I bet you are doing great!
Well, let's get to the point:
UT Micro and Molecular Biology Students Society (MMBSS) is having its
first meeting of the Fall Semester next week on Wednesday Oct. 1 @ 6
PM in PHR 2.114.
We will be hosting Dr. Philip Bennett of UT Austin.
Dr. Bennett will discuss aspects of his research work in
Geomicrobiology. His laboratory studies the interplay between rocks
and microbes, investigating the bidirectional influence that each has
on the other. His research includes work at diverse locations such as
subsurface aquifers in various states, sulfidic caves in Wyoming, and
geysers in northern Chile.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear Dr. Bennett, and not to mention,
enjoy free pizza and drinks!
And, while you are at it, you should also consider joining MMBSS:
-Great speakers talk about their research, internship opportunities
for students, and more!
-Free food and drinks at every meeting!
-Free T-Shirt!
-ALL members get $100 off ANY Princeton Review course!
-End of the year drawing for a half-scholarship for any Princeton
