Job Title: Voice Engineer

Job Location: Tacoma, WA Onsite

Duration: 6+ Months

VISA: No CPT

 

Primary skills: Avaya L2

Secondary Skills: Nortel L1

 

•        Avaya L2 skills preferred

•        5+ years’ experience in handling Avaya & Nortel Communication Infrastructure including Media Servers, Modular Messaging, CMS, Media Gateways etc.

•        8+ years of total Network Voice experience required, preferably Legacy

•        Previous onsite experience preferred

•        Understanding of the following product categories: SIP Proxy Server, Session, Border Controller

•        Protocol experience including H.323, MEGACO, MGCP, SIP

•        Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and implementing PBX features, Call Center Feature

•        Skills on Voice administration, Voice Mail, ISDN PRI's, VoIP, TDM etc

•        Basic knowledge of Firewalls, QoS, NAT, VLAN, DNS, routing, IP addressing

•        Familiarity with basic Networking like router, switches

•        Experience with call recording technology preferred.

•        Avaya ACSA, ACSS Certifications preferred, Nortel.

•        Problem & Incident Management experience
