Client: Texas HHSC

Location: Austin, TX (Remote)

Experience Required: 12+ Years

Required Skills:
• Oracle Database 19c/23ai Administration
• Oracle Grid Infrastructure (ASM, Clusterware)
• Oracle GoldenGate
• Oracle Active Data Guard
• Linux Administration & Shell Scripting
• SQL & Performance Tuning
• Oracle Database Upgrades
• Security & Vulnerability Remediation
• ETL Environment Support
• Database Backup & Recovery

Preferred Skills:
• Oracle PeopleSoft
• Public Sector / Government Experience
• Hosting Vendor Experience

Responsibilities:
• Upgrade Oracle databases from 19c to 23ai
• Manage Oracle Grid Infrastructure (ASM & Clusterware)
• Support High Availability using GoldenGate and Active Data Guard
• Perform database performance tuning, patching, backup, recovery, and monitoring
• Support ERP implementations and ETL environments
• Develop automation scripts using Linux Shell and SQL
• Ensure database security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation
• Support production environments and work during planned maintenance windows when required
