Specialist II – Data Science (Agentic AI / A2A Frameworks)

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Onsite/Hybrid)
Hours per Week: 40


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Specialist II with strong expertise in Agentic AI architectures, A2A frameworks, and MCP Protocol. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in AI/ML engineering, vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and cloud-native solution deployment on Azure.

This role requires hands-on experience designing scalable AI solutions using modern GenAI, cloud-native services, and distributed architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Agentic AI systems using A2A frameworks and MCP Protocol.

  • Build and optimize AI/ML pipelines involving vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and context engineering.

  • Develop scalable AI-driven applications using Python, Java, or Go.

  • Deploy and manage AI solutions on Microsoft Azure Cloud.

  • Work with Azure AI Search, Redis, Cosmos DB, and other data platforms.

  • Design and manage Azure Functions and Azure Container Apps.

  • Implement cloud-native architectures with high scalability and performance optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver GenAI and AI/ML solutions.

Required Skills

Must Have Skills

1. Agentic AI & Protocols – 12+ Years

  • Hands-on experience with Agentic Layer A2A frameworks and MCP Protocol.

2. AI/ML Engineering – 6+ Years

  • Vector embeddings

  • Prompt engineering

  • Context engineering

3. Programming & Cloud – 6+ Years

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Go

  • Experience deploying solutions on Azure Cloud

4. Databases & Data Platforms – 6+ Years

  • Azure AI Search

  • Redis

  • Cosmos DB

  • Knowledge of Blob Storage and Iceberg is a plus

5. Cloud Architecture – 6+ Years

  • Experience designing and managing:

    • Azure Functions

    • Azure Container Apps

  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, scalability, and performance optimization

Domain Experience

  • Healthcare domain experience (Good to Have)
