Theory and Friends Hike Sunday September 28 9AM at Bridge to Nowhere

Hi all,

Please join us for the Sunday September 28 Theory hike at Bridge to Nowhere. Note, this is a "theory and friends" hike. You do not need to be formally affiliated with the group to join, and we invite everyone to bring friends and family along. In addition, if you are interested in getting more involved with the group, this would be an excellent time to meet some folks who work in CS theory at USC in an informal way.

This will be a fairly challenging hike, as it is about 10 miles in total and involves some scrambling and many water crossings. It is very fun though, and I strongly recommend that everyone join. We will leave from GCS at 9AM, and get to the hiking location (near Pasadena) around 10. If you have a car, it would be awesome if you are willing to help transport folks.  The only required gear is water and clothes/shoes that you are willing to get wet.

Note that we will likely do another theory hike either later this semester or next semester which will be on an easier trail, so do not worry if you cannot make this one or feel uncomfortable with the difficulty of this route.
