PressTV ,Tehran Times and the rest of the Iranian media should be a good source for updates about the ongoing tragic & precarious situation.

The number of deaths reported by TIME by Jan 9, 2026 9:32 PM CET may or may not be  exaggerated but this much is certain: Ordinary citizens can't phone to Iran from Stockholm, because they ( the authorities) have shut down the internet and the possibility of other normal kinds of communication with Iran. Perhaps, it's just as well, because it's mainly opposition elements opposed to the current regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran that are  missing home and still either enjoying or suffering refugee status in Sweden - and by extension also living in voluntary exile in France, the United States, Germany and Britain and the other countries to which the first wave of exiles gravitated in the wake of the Islamic Revolution in Iran completed in 1979 and followed by the eight year war which Saddam imposed on Iran…

Trump & his best buddy Netanyahu are ostensibly happy about the situation, and the latter must be whispering in the ear of the former about what to do next, and when, at his behest.

As always, the Mullahs and wellwishers of the Islamic regime take refuge in Surah al Nas,the last chapter of the Quran al-Karim

How do you think Trump would cope with an insurrection of that magnitude with the direct aim of overthrowing his Republican Government, right there in his United States which he wants to make great, “again” ?  What do you think Trump would do if his fellow Americans went on the rampage in the major cities of the United States, started destroying valuable American infrastructure, and started burning down government buildings and banks?
